I’ve been thinking about a good prize to auction off for the raffle this year. I’ve got a lot of my smaller gifts such as appliances and little gift certificates, but there still needs to be some big incentive. That’s how we get most of our revenue, we’ve found. We have a beautiful gift that everyone wants to win, and that’s what drives a whole lot of people to try out the contest. I’m thinking that everyone likes vacations; it’s the type of thing that involves a lot of relaxing and you can often get good rates, I believe. That’s why I’m looking through lots of listings for Holiday Cottages in Wales. Last year we raised a whole lot of money for charity, and we’re hoping to break that mark this year; I think that with the right incentives, you can get people to open their eyes to a great cause.
